For businesses striving to connect with decision-makers and influencers in the security field, the problem of reaching the right audience with the right message often isn’t just about visibility—it’s about credibility. How do you get your voice heard in a way that resonates with a community that values expertise and authenticity above all else?

Our podcast programs, led by our esteemed Security Weekly team, proudly provide respected and credible coverage of the topics that cybersecurity practitioners and the broader industry care about. As a cornerstone in the cybersecurity community for over 15 years, the programs are known for delivering robust, actionable insights from hosts who are not just media personalities but seasoned security practitioners themselves.

Each of our weekly shows is tailored to specific facets of the cybersecurity landscape, ensuring that our content—and the message of our technology partners—lands with an audience that’s looking for the solutions we discuss.

As part of the ongoing unification of CyberRisk Alliance brands, and our commitment to ensuring that all solutions we offer reflect the combined power of every element in our portfolio, we determined it was time to refresh the look and feel of our podcast programs to ensure they reflected our CyberRisk Alliance brand and mission. While refreshing the visual elements of the brand, we also took the opportunity to more closely examine how the programs were serving their engaged subscriber bases and that each program was distinct in the value it provided when looked it in the context of all podcast programming we offer.

Get to Know the Refreshed Security Weekly Programs

Application Security Weekly: A podcast about all things AppSec, DevOps, and DevSecOps. Hosted by Mike Shema and John Kinsella, this podcast program focuses on helping its audience find and fix software flaws effectively.

“I most enjoy when practitioners share the sharp edges they encounter when dealing not only with vulns, but with security tools and recommendations as well. It's a chance to hear how the practice of appsec still needs to evolve so we can worry less about chasing CVEs all the time,” said Shema.

He adds that some of his “favorite discussions have been around changing the direction of appsec, whether it's embracing chaos engineering to emphasize resiliency, appreciating the importance of UX for security tools, or knocking down some security myths that don't match today's app landscape.” Check out the latest episodes and subscribe to Application Security Weekly here.

White said the Crowdstrike cyberincident was one of his favorite stories to cover.

“The issue occured on Friday morning and Josh and I got to spend about 40 minutes just talking about it on the show,” he said. “It may well have been the news item of the year.”  Check out the latest episodes and subscribe to Security Weekly News here.
